A Nurse practitioner preceptor, either FNP preceptors or a psych preceptors (pmhnp preceptors), is the leader who works with you during training and education. Your nurse practitioner preceptor will know the ins-and-outs of the nursing field and will be able to help guide and mentor you during your career. An NP preceptor is dedicated to helping trainees learn and develop their skills, so they can help meet the needs of patients in their communities once they graduate.
